Supplements? Use them or not?
- Due to the fact supplements can vary widely in terms of what they are and what they do, this question isn’t particularly easy to answer. However, what I can say on this matter is that all athletes should attempt to reach their nutritional values through food. If they find they are lacking in some areas then supplements can come into play and allow them to improve in that area.
What supplements do I recommend?
- In my opinion a lot of supplements are not necessary. However I do recommend the likes of creatine, pre-workout and protein. From an athletes point of view I find that these three help me out the most between increasing phosphocreatine stores, getting that extra kick after a long day of college and finally helping/increasing recovery time.
